Article 1: Organization

  • The event is promoted by Gonçalo Horta Poeira e Silva (Menu Magazine), located at Rua de Ambriz, nº 29-3º B 2775-032 Parede – Portugal.
  • Legal Person nª 275.992.756 and Registration in INPI – Record no. 518318.

Article 2: Official Registration

  • Participants can register via www.winemasterschallenge.co.uk or through a paper form.
  • Registration is officially recognized only after confirmation of the entire process.
  • The deadline for sample delivery is February 25.
  • Late registrations incur an additional 50% fee.

Article 3: Samples

  • Required volume: 2.250 liters (3 X 750 ml) for each wine submitted.
  • Samples must be in retail condition; handwritten or erased labels will not be accepted.
  • Competitors are responsible for all costs, including transportation and customs duties.

Article 4: Infractions & Labeling

  • Participants will be excluded for labels not complying with international or local laws.
  • The outside of each box must be marked: Wine Masters Challenge – XXVIII World Wine Contest.
  • Each shipment must include laboratory analysis and bank transfer confirmation.

Article 5: Jury

  • The jury consists of 178 qualified experts from 19 different countries.
  • Testing is done according to international standards using computerized technology.
